We’ve been told since the dawn of time that tigers are fiercely solitary creatures. But recent wildlife footage completely challenges that notion…and in the most adorable way, to boot. 

By the grace of Mother Nature herself, wildlife researchers from the two-part BBC Earth documentary Tiger Island were able to capture two tiger mothers “babysitting” each other’s cubs.

The last day of school is always the sweet start of summer and freedom for both students and teachers. One Oklahoma teacher makes sure to send her students off knowing they are loved.

Former second grade teacher Melody Munch (who transitioned to full time classroom resource creation in 2023), shared the touching tribute she did at the end of each school year for her class that she helps current teachers mimic today.

Each year, Munch hosted an annual “End of Year Awards.” She presented each student with a personalized award to recognize their skills and gifts, complete with a red carpet (made from butcher paper), music, funky disco lights, and more. Munch also sent them each home with a gift bag.

It’s not that you don’t care.

Is there anything more embarrassing than when you leave a party and say goodbye to someone you just met, and you can’t remember their name? It’s even worse if they remembered yours. The implications are simple: You didn’t remember because you didn’t care, or you don’t have a very good memory.

According to science, the reason you forgot may not be because you didn’t care or that your memory is terrible. It could actually mean that you have above-average intelligence. It all boils down to a psychological phenomenon known as the Fan Effect, which states that when we receive a lot of information about a cue, or in this case, a person, retrieving individual facts like their name takes more time.

No two people hold the same opinions, so you’re bound to have some significant disagreements in most close relationships.

Often, people settle for agreeing to disagree on a topic to squelch the argument. But is that the healthiest way to get past the conflict? Doesn’t that just allow the problem to fester and grow?
