The lyrics hit different when you sing them with an aging parent.

If you're in the mood for a good, cleansing cry session, you're in luck. We've got something that just might do it, so grab a tissue and settle in for this sweet little musical moment between a mother and son.

It began in February of 2025 when 26-year-old Australian music artist Jude York casually recorded himself singing ABBA's "Slipping Through My Fingers" in his family's home. For those who are unfamiliar with the song, "Slipping Through My Fingers" is about a mother's feelings about the speed at which her little girl is growing up. With lyrics like Sometimes, I wish that I could freeze the picture / And save it from the funny tricks of time / Slipping through my fingers it's easy to see how touching it is.Article1

Sorry, Millennials, your childhood is now a history lesson.

It’s said that one of the most effective ways to learn is through experience, by actively engaging with the material and applying it to real-world situations. That’s a little hard when you’re teaching history, but Malinda Nichols, an Alabama sixth-grade social studies teacher, found a way to bring the ‘90s to life, with a bit of help from her students’ Millennial parents.

“As our decades progress here in social studies class, we have reached, of course, the very best decade, the 1990s. So, I have invited parents of my students, who are all Millennials, to bring in nostalgic items from their childhood,” she said.

Super random but my ballet teacher used to count “One pink elephant. Two pink elephants…” 🤣🩰

Look, I get it. Your reading list is longer than a CVS receipt at the moment. And the idea of adding 10 fresh, new titles? That makes you want to hide under a weighted blanket until you can figure out how to make your Kindle do the reading for you. But trust the Internet on this one—these aren't just any books.

We're talking about 10 literary earthquakes that are shaking up the online world, sourced from Reddit's r/suggestmeabook forum. This list has everything, from poetic climate fiction to historical romance. These are the kind of stories that make you text your friends at 2 a.m. saying, "You have to read this right now."

It doesn’t start with your belly or your thighs...

You know what they say…a moment on the lips, forever on the…tongue?

That phrase might not have quite the same ring to it, but it might be more accurate, according to world-renowned physician, and food scientist, Dr. William Li.

While appearing on a recent episode of The Mel Robbins Podcast, Li explained, “When you have too many calories and you overflow your fuel tank, the first fat that grows is inside your body. You can’t see it.”

The type of fat Li is talking about is visceral fat, which, unlike the subcutaneous fat we might see on our hips, thighs, and belly, is stored in the spaces around your internal organs and contributes to serious health problems like heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers.
