The dogs look like people, the parents are acting like teenagers, and the grandparents have become completely obsessed with a kitten. It's that kind of Tuesday. Mark Wales shares some uncanny portraits that might make you do a double take, Emily Shiffer examines why Millennials are suddenly worried about their parents' screen time, and Cecily Knobler reminds us that the internet can still be a force for good.

Gerrard Gethings, animal portraits, humor, lookalike

Reggie the Chow Chow has a fluffy coat. Monica completes the illusion with her own blue tongue.

A photographer found dogs their human lookalikes. The matching portraits are hilariously convincing.

Matching hair, expressions, and even tongue colors make these carefully arranged portraits a delight.

By Mark Wales

People sometimes say that dogs and their owners look alike. British photographer Gerrard Gethings took that idea a step further, finding human lookalikes for 25 dogs and photographing them in strikingly similar poses.

The results are hilarious. From matching hairstyles to nearly identical expressions, some portraits look so convincing you’d swear the humans and dogs are related.

Take Monica and Reggie, the pair featured in this article’s lead photograph. Reggie is a Chow Chow with a plush coat and a distinctive blue tongue. Monica has a similar hair color, but her bright blue tongue completes the illusion.

Red Baron Pizza, grocery store, Michigan

A hardworking man is rewarded after a really bad day.

A Red Baron worker was devastated by a mean viral ‘prank.’ Strangers stepped in and changed his life.

Employee of the month nominations are closed. You know why.

By Cecily Knobler

A man in Michigan was having an especially hard day. As a late night store delivery worker for Red Baron pizza , “Walt Z” was working long, exhausting hours, stocking pizza in the frozen food aisle. Yet this didn’t stop him from greeting a customer with kindness when asked the time. Things quickly took a turn from there.

In a clip making the rounds, we see him as he’s approached by a guy asking a question. When he pulls out his phone, the man “pretends” to steal ten dollars by using Apple Pay. Turns out the whole exchange had been a poorly thought-out “prank” from someone trying to get online clicks, and is filming/streaming the exchange live.

Millennials are growing concerned about their Boomer parents being glued to their phones

“For some reason they’re both acting like me when I was 20…”

By Emily Shiffer

Millennials have never shied away from sharing their feelings about their Boomer parents (and their grandparenting abilities) on the Internet. Millennials are once again uniting to discuss a similar observation about their Boomer parents’ frustrating phone use.

In a July 2025 thread about generational differences on the r/generationology subreddit, Millennial member Old-Beautiful-3971 shared their frustrating experience with their Boomer parents who are perpetually on their phones.

“My parents are on the very young end of being ‘boomers’. For some reason they’re both acting like me when I was 20… that is to say, gluuuued to their phones,” they wrote. “I tried to have an important conversation with my dad this morning and he did not once look up (and I’m certain he was scrolling through Instagram videos).”

cat, kitten, orange kitten, ginger kitty, ricky the kitten

Gramma and Grampa made a keepsake of their time with Ricky.

Gramma and Grampa’s photobook after spending 2 weeks watching Ricky the kitten is everything

It reads like a children’s book.

By Annie Reneau

There are kitten lovers…and then there are Ricky’s grandparents. When Izzie Grass left her kitten, Ricky, with her parents for two weeks, she had no idea what was in store for her after she got him back. Not only had Ricky been well taken care of, but his adventures with his human grandparents were fully documented in a photobook created by Grass’s mother, which she titled “Ricky Goes to Gramma’s and Grampa’s.”

The photo album that reads like a children’s book first went viral when Grass shared it on TikTok in 2020, and it has resurfaced repeatedly since, with people clamoring for more riveting Ricky content after reading about how the kitten “helped Gramma do the dishes” and how “Cousin Jasper and Charlie ate most of” the pancakes Gramma made for him.

Check out how adorably extra Gramma is:
